If evenings are hectic, make it a morning date! Set your alarm early, grab your favorite coffee or tea, and head to a nearby beach, park, or lookout point to watch the sunrise together. This quiet time can feel so refreshing, offering a break from the busy planning while you reconnect in nature.

Orange County’s gorgeous coastline is perfect for a romantic evening walk. Visit places like Laguna Beach,Newport Beach or if you have a pup then the Huntington Dog Beach for your whole little trio to enjoy!

• Make a pact that wedding planning is off-limits for the day—it’s all about enjoying each other’s company and having fun.

3. DIY Pizza + Vision Board Night

Stay in, but make it special! Grab some premade dough or your favorite crust, and create your own custom pizzas together. While they bake, spend some time dreaming about your future! Create a vision board of your goals as a couple—travel, hobbies, dream home, and anything else you’re excited about after the wedding.

4. “Around the World” Dinner at Home

Skip the crowds and plan a travel-inspired dinner at home. Pick a cuisine you both love (or one you want to try), cook it together (or order takeout), and pair it with music and decor to match. It’s a fun way to satisfy your wanderlust while staying cozy.

5. Themed Arcade Night

Head to a local arcade or barcade and embrace your inner kid. This is seriously so much fun. My husband and I just did this and had the best time shredding it up on Guitar Hero! If you are extra competitive, make it a mini-competition with prizes (like winner gets out of picking wedding favors!) and enjoy an evening of carefree fun and nostalgia.
