There are some wedding days that feel like pure sunshine!

Full of warmth, laughter, and love that lingers long after the night ends. Amanda and Steven’s wedding at Green Gables Wedding Venue was exactly that kind of day.

The joy and excitement in the room were contagious and set the sweetest tone for the day ahead.

The morning began with the softest golden light pouring through the getting-ready room windows, wrapping everything in a warm, dreamy glow. Amanda, a true Taylor Swift fan, had her favorite album playing on repeat while she and her bridesmaids got ready. Singing along, laughing, and soaking in every moment.

He couldn’t stop thinking about seeing Amanda for the first time.

Just across the Green Gables Wedding venue in his own getting-ready room, Steven was filled with anticipation. Every time someone mentioned her name, his eyes would start to glisten — we all knew tears were coming once the ceremony began. And sure enough, when Amanda walked down the aisle, the sweetest tears of joy streamed down his face. It was one of those raw, beautiful moments that truly capture what wedding days are all about.

After they said “I do,” the two of them walked down the aisle hand in hand as guests blew bubbles and cheered — a joyful, movie-worthy moment that radiated pure happiness. The way Steven looked at Amanda all day was something special. His love and adoration for her were constant and genuine — the kind that speaks volumes without a single word.

As an Spokane wedding photographer, I’m so grateful that my work still takes me back to my prior home in San Diego, California for weddings like this one. Though Idaho is where my family and I now live, a part of my heart will always belong to California — and photographing love stories there feels like coming home.
